WWE fans are known for bringing creative signs to their events. Sometimes, those signs will go viral, and it helped one fan meet one of her heroes in Perth.
WWE fans watched RAW this week as they were live from Perth, Australia. That was a big night for CM Punk, because he became the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. For one woman in the crowd, this was a long time coming.
The camera zoomed in on a woman who was crying in the crowd during CM Punk’s entrance. She had a sign that said that she waited 19 years to see CM Punk.
As she put the sign over her crying face, fans could tell how much that moment meant to her. CM Punk was also clued into what went down, because he made a point to meet her after the show. She posted on Instagram with a caption that said it all.
“I’m still struggling to get my words out so I’ll keep it simple @cmpunk you truly are the best in the world & I’ll forever be grateful for you & will cherish tonight for the rest of my life 🫶🏻, Thank you for what you do & what you’ve done for me tonight it will never be forgotten.”
The Second City Saint was seen with this longtime fan. This was a very happy ending all around for CM Punk’s massive Aussie fan, especially since she got to see him win that triple threat match over LA Knight and Jey Uso at the end of the night. Then she got to see Seth Rollins’ Vision turn on him.
We will have to see what happens for CM Punk on RAW. We know for sure he still has a huge fan in Australia who will never forget meeting him.
