CM Punk just made Disney history—and now he’s opening up about it.
The WWE World Heavyweight Champion hit the red carpet at the Zootopia 2 world premiere in Los Angeles and officially confirmed his role in the animated sequel. But it’s not just the casting that raised eyebrows—it’s who he’s paired with and what they’re playing.
While speaking on the carpet, Punk shared his thoughts on voicing a zebra cop alongside none other than Roman Reigns. The duo play two officers in the Zootopia universe: Zebro Zebraxton (Punk) and Zebrow Zabrowski (Reigns).
“CM Punk. Roman Reigns. I’m Zebrow Zabrowski. He’s Zebra Zabraxton. So I’m not sure if we’re related or if we’re just zebras, but we’re both cops. And it’s. It’s so odd. It’s odd to play a cop, it’s odd to play a zebra, but it was just so fun, you know, voicing this character. So I’m excited to see it on the big screen.”
The film drops on November 26 and features an all-star lineup including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Zeke, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman returning as Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, and Ke Huy Quan voicing the villain, Gary De’Snake.
Punk’s Disney debut comes just days before he returns to the ring at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames on November 29. He’s set to lead a team with Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso against Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker. With Zootopia’s streets under his watch and WarGames looming, Punk’s living two wildly different lives at once.
