The December 5, 2025 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The night had a lot of Survivor Series: WarGames fallout, and that included the Scottish Warrior.
Drew McIntyre opened up SmackDown this week by showing up in his truck. Then SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis told McIntyre that he’s still suspended, despite the fact that he competed at Survivor Series: WarGames.
McIntyre wasn’t happy, but he still left. Then once, he was in his truck, Cody Rhodes jumped through the other side and attacked McIntyre.
After Cody Rhodes got a few strikes in, Drew kicked Cody out, and he drove off. Cody Rhodes went immediately to the ring, where he told Nick Aldis to reinstate Drew McIntyre. Then he went into a metaphor heavy promo about how McIntyre is a cockroach. The promo didn’t end with Nick Aldis getting to business, but it seems that the American Nightmare has made his opinion known.
We will have to see what happens next with Drew McIntyre. He is certainly going through an interesting booking situation, and it’s anyone’s guess when he and Cody Rhodes will finally throw down.
