Cody Rhodes is widely viewed as a classic babyface in WWE, and while many fans have called for him to turn heel, The American Nightmare has now claimed that he has no interest in making that change.
While speaking on his “What Do You Wanna Talk About?” podcast, Cody Rhodes talked about Becky Lynch’s heel run, where Lynch pointed out all the things she loved doing as a heel.
When it came to him turning heel, Rhodes made it clear that he has no interest in turning to the dark side, saying that it’s simply not something he sees himself doing or putting his heart into.
“I have the complete opposite outlook. On all these metrics, on all of these measurables, I just don’t have any interest in being a bad guy. I just don’t know if I could do it. I don’t know if my heart would be in it.”
This comes after fans have been constantly telling him to turn heel and even Rhodes made it clear his heel turn would be so extreme it would get him canceled.
We have also reported that WWE currently has no plans to turn Cody Rhodes heel anytime soon. Therefore, fans shouldn’t really expect Rhodes to be a heel like he was during his NJPW since that’s really unlikely to happen anyway.
