It’s the Third Saturday in October, and there’s plenty of fanfare surrounding the high-stakes college football games on tap for Week 8.

That moniker refers directly to the Alabama-Tennessee rivalry, which is set for primetime treatment. Ty Simpson and the No. 6 Crimson Tide are flourishing in Year 2 of the Kalen DeBoer era, while Joey Aguilar and the No. 11 Volunteers are looking to pull off the upset in Tuscaloosa.

And that’s only the start of the top-25 action in the SEC. No. 5 Ole Miss can cement itself as a legitimate CFP contender with a win over No. 9 Georgia, but the Rebels will have to do it in Athens. Diego Pavia and No. 17 Vanderbilt can secure a program-defining win with No. 10 LSU coming to Nashville.

There’s intrigue elsewhere, too, with plenty of eyes on Penn State. The Nittany Lions will visit Iowa, taking the field for the first time since firing head coach James Franklin. Interim coach Terry Smith will lead the program in its first game without Franklin since the end of the 2013 season.

Here is everything you need to know about watching college football on Saturday, including TV and streaming information for the entire Week 8 slate.
