ESPN’s Saturday morning pregame show, “College GameDay,” is a staple for many college football fans each weekend. This week, the show will finally be attending a Big 12 campus. The pregame show will be headed to Salt Lake City, Utah, this week for the Week 10 matchup between the No. 16 Cincinnati and No. 24 Utah Utes.
GameDay has not been to a Big 12 campus this season and has not been to a Big 12 game since the 2023 Oklahoma-Texas game, which was in Dallas, not on a college campus. The show has visited current Big 12 schools when they were part of other conferences, but has not officially been to a Big 12 campus game since October 2022.

The SEC bias has definitely been evident this year, but GameDay finally made the apt choice, featuring the Big 12 and one of college football’s best stories, the 7-1 Cincinnati Bearcats. The show did bypass some other notable Week 10 games, including Georgia-Florida, Vanderbilt-Texas, and, perhaps most notably, Oklahoma-Tennessee.
Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee serve as college football experts for GameDay, with a celebrity guest picker also chiming in.
GameDay’s coverage will begin at 9 a.m. ET, 7 a.m. MT on Saturday, Nov. 1, from Utah’s campus and will be televised on ESPN.

Predicting GameDay’s Week 11 location
While it would be surprising, it does seem possible that GameDay could return to a Big 12 campus next week. No. 10 BYU and No. 13 Texas Tech, arguably the top two teams in the conference, face off in Lubbock. Other possible games include Texas A&M at Missouri and LSU at Alabama, but the Red Raiders’ home game against the Cougars seems like the top option.
