One of the hallmarks of a college football Saturday are the picks from the “College GameDay” crew to wrap their weekly ESPN staple.

Broadcasting from Norman, Okla., ahead of Saturday’s battle between No. 13 Michigan at No. 24 Oklahoma, former Sooner basketball star and current Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young was the guest picker.

Young joined analysts Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit to pick the game.

Who did ‘College GameDay’ pick?

Desmond Howard: Iowa State. I’m going Cyclones.”

Nick Saban: “Cyclones. Rocco Becht, too much for them.”

Pat McAfee: “Congrats to Kirk Ferentz. You’ve become the all-time leader in wins as a coach in the Big Ten today. Watch a game-winner from Drew Stevens at the end. Iowa beats Iowa State in Ames and there’s a massive celebration.”

Trae Young: “I was hoping he went Iowa, because I went Iowa State. Shoutout my old former Norman North teammate, Charlie Kolar. I went to this same exact game a few years ago, so I’m going with Iowa State.”

Kirk Herbstreit: “I’m going with Iowa. I think Gronowski is going to bounce back from that opener against Albany and look good. This is always a close game. Maybe it comes down to a last-second field goal like it did last year. I’m going with the Hawkeyes on the road.”
