Colorado football lining up multiple portal visits this weekend

Colorado football and Deion Sanders continue to aggressively pursue transfer portal additions, with multiple visits and offers sent out this weekend.

With the Buffs needing to fill nearly 50 roster spots, the work is just beginning, with visits scheduled throughout the weekend.

Here’s what we know about four CU targets who are scheduling visits or have already planned trips to Boulder.

DB Naeten Mitchell

Visit Date: Jan. 3

Mitchell is a former New Mexico State defensive back who led the NMSU defense with 93 tackles, six pass breakups and four forced fumbles in 2025. He is the second Aggie to set up a visit with the Buffs after top defensive lineman Ezra Christensen set up a visit this upcoming week.

EDGE Jordan Norman

Visit Date: TBD

247Sports’ Chris Hummer reports that Norman is scheduling visits with Colorado and Kentucky, but the dates have not yet been announced. The Tulane transfer posted 28 tackles, eight tackles for loss and six sacks this season.

EDGE David Onuoha

Visit Date: TBD

Onuoha is scheduling visits with Colorado and Texas Tech. The 6-foot-1, 237-pound pass rusher who began his career at Rutgers posted 44 tackles, 4.5 tackles and 2.5 sacks this season.

EDGE Lamont Lester

Visit Date: Jan. 4-7

Monmouth transfer EDGE Lamont Lester will visit Colorado after his freshman All-American season at the FCS level. He posted 11.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks.
