Colorado football released its initial availability report for this Saturday’s game against BYU, and the list is lengthy.

Some key pieces will be missing for the Buffs, including two top running backs and starting cornerback RJ Johnson. To make matters worse, Colorado will also likely be without CB Makari Vickers, who has spelled Johnson at times this season.
Other players on the injury report include DE Keaten Wade (questionable), TE Charlie Williams (questionable), S TJ Branch (doubtful) and CB Kyle Carpenter (doubtful.
The Buffs will need several players to step up, including running backs Micah Welch and Dallan Hayden. The cornerback position also seems to be a position of weakness heading into this weekend’s game.
