Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes hit a new low on Saturday. After suffering a 52-17 loss to Arizona, no players were made available to talk to the media. The first time in Coach Prime’s tenure at Colorado this has happened.

Sanders took responsibility for the loss, which is the second straight game CU has allowed a conference opponent over 50 points. Not a good turn of events with the Buffs now fighting for a postseason bid and needing to win out on the final three games with two on the road.
“Don’t attack the coordinators. Come at me. Don’t attack the players. Come at me,” Sanders said.
The Buffaloes had no answers on either side of the ball. For the second time this season, Sanders cycled through all three quarterbacks with former five-star Julian Lewis throwing his first career touchdown pass. Despite the terrible play, Sanders sees no quit in his team. “I know a quitter when I see one. I haven’t seen that.” He went on to say, “I don’t doubt me. Let’s get that straight: I. Don’t. Doubt. Me.”

Regardless of any motivational message Coach Prime is trying to pass along, his team’s performance tells a much different story about what’s going on in Boulder. The hype built around his arrival to Power football has expired.
Colorado has been outscored by a margin of 105-24 since the bye week. They’ll try to regroup on the road against West Virginia Saturday (Noon ET, TNT).
