The Dallas Wings fell short to the Golden State Valkyries on Friday night, but Paige Bueckers still managed to make history.

Bueckers, the No. 1 pick from the 2025 WNBA Draft, has been sensational for the Wings this season, averaging 18.1 points and 5.6 assists per game. She stayed right around those averages on Friday night, finishing with 17 points and six assists.
With last night’s performance in the books, Bueckers has become the fastest player in WNBA history to reach at least 350 career points and 100 assists.
Bueckers has already been having a special rookie season. After all, she’s the only player in the league ranked in the top 10 in points, assists and steals. Her latest achievement, however, has WNBA fans buzzing.

“It’s actually ridiculous that she is doing all of this and one could make a very real argument that she is still being underrated by the media and general public,” one fan said.
“The makings of a goat,” a second fan wrote.
“Won’t be long until she becomes the best guard in the league,” a third fan said.

“Tried to tell you all along, the best I have ever seen. Just a matter of health and time now,” a fan of Bueckers declared.

There’s no question Bueckers will win Rookie of the Year as long as she stays healthy.
WNBA fans will get to see Bueckers back in action Sunday when the Wings host the Las Vegas Aces. Tipoff is set for 4 p.m. ET.
