Costeen Hatzi says she was "a fully supportive girlfriend" to Nick Kyrgios, and adds that although their love story didn't end up the way she hoped, she has no intention of speaking about her ex in a negative way.
After starting their relationship in very late 2021, Hatzi became a full-time member of Kyrgios' team and followed him wherever he went. It did wonders for the Australian tennis star, who made his first Grand Slam final at 2022 Wimbledon and enjoyed by far his best year on the Tour.
While Kyrgios basically skipped the entire 2023 and 2024 seasons due to knee and wrist surgeries, he returned to action earlier this year and Hatzi was there. But then, in the spring, rumors started surfacing that the influencer flew back home from Indian Wells alone and that she and the ATP star were done as a couple. A couple of weeks later, that one was confirmed.

"I was fully supportive. I went to all the tournaments. I was doing everything behind the scenes – his washing, his cooking … everything. I was happy to, because I loved him and we had a great relationship at the time. So I don't regret anything that I've done," the 26-year-old told News Corp.
Hatzi may not be happy with how some things unfolded in her relationship with Kyrgios. But there is one thing she absolutely doesn't want to do – and that's publicly bashing the 2022 Wimbledon finalist.
"I've really taken that on board, because I don't want to ruin his name. Sometimes my emotions get the better of me, but then I remember that it's not in my nature to say anything bad about him. We still had a beautiful relationship, even though things didn't turn out the way [I'd hoped]. I've found peace within myself, and I hope he's happy. I don't wish bad upon him at all," Hatzi noted.
