Daniel Cormier would entertain competing against Jon Jones again.
Cormier and Jones engaged in one of the biggest rivalries in UFC history which included two light heavyweight title fights. Cormier suffered his first career loss to Jones by decision at UFC 182, and was knocked out in their title-fight rematch at UFC 214. However, Jones’ second win over Cormier was overturned to a no contest after he tested positive for a turinabol metabolite.

Cormier came out winless in both outings, but could the 2004 and 2008 Olympic wrestler get his revenge on the mats?
“I’d wrestle the right guy,” Cormier told Josh Thomson on competing for Real American Freestyle, a startup freestyle wrestling promotion that has featured many UFC notables so far. “I’d wrestle like Jon Jones.”
RAF has seen many UFC fighters participate such as Michael Chandler, Joaquin Buckley, and Belal Muhammad. Thomson asked Cormier about UFC title challenger Yoel Romero, who tech-falled Pat Downey at RAF 4 in Indianapolis less than 10 days ago. Romero has been rebooked against Hodge Trophy winner Bo Nickal at RAF 5 on Jan. 10, but Cormier wants no part of “The Soldier of God.”
“No,” Cormier responded. “I’m not wrestling Yoel Romero, bro. I wouldn’t wrestle Yoel. He’s still good, man. He’s like insanely good. I’m not wrestling with him. I’d wrestle like a Jon Jones or somebody, but not Yoel.”
