Daniel Suarez will drive the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet in the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season, the team announced on Oct. 22.
Suarez replaces Justin Haley, whose exit from the ride was announced earlier this month.
Suarez, 33, joins Spire from Trackhouse Racing after five seasons in the No. 99 car. He totaled two wins and 16 top-5 finishes over his time at Trackhouse.
The 2025 season has been very up and down for Suarez, who has two runner-up finishes and seven top-10 runs but also nine finishes outside the top 30 all from DNFs.
Suarez joins Spire for his 10th full Cup Series season, his fourth team over that decade which includes stops at Joe Gibbs Racing, Stewart-Haas Racing, Gaunt Brothers Racing and Trackhouse.
Spire has stepped up over the last couple seasons to become a competitive mid-pack team in the Cup Series, with Carson Hocevar and Michael McDowell each posting multiple top-5 finishes and contending for victories.
Those two drivers will return in 2026 and will be teammates with Suarez next year.
