Rising Mexican lightweight Daniel Zellhuber has faced adversity on the way up and now gets one of the most experienced fighters in the UFC.
At UFC Fight Night 268, Zellhuber (15-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC) will battle 28-fight promotional veteran King Green in a three-round lightweight bout, the promotion announced Saturday. The bout takes place at Arena CDMX in Mexico City.

There are no do-overs in MMA, but if Zellhuber wants to pass a test like the one he failed vs. Michael Johnson in July, Green (33-17-1 MMA, 14-12-1 UFC) presents similar challenges.
Green, 39, has been in the UFC since coming over from Strikeforce in 2012. He’s had ups and downs, competing against the top-half of one of the promotion’s most stacked divisions. He most recently competed in December when he snapped a two-fight skid against debuting Lance Gibson Jr..
Zellhuber, 26, aims to snap a two-fight skid himself. Following a three-fight winning streak in 2023-2024, Zellhuber hit some bumps in the road with back-to-back losses to Esteban Ribovics and the aforementioned Johnson.
