Dark Side of the Ring Renewed for Season 7 by Vice TV

by

Vice TV’s Dark Side of the Ring is officially returning for a seventh season.

After months of speculation about the show’s future, PWInsider.com has confirmed that the critically acclaimed wrestling docuseries has been renewed and is already back in production. The series is actively working on new episodes, with filming having taken place several weeks ago in Louisville, Kentucky.

This confirmation puts an end to months of uncertainty following Season 6, which wrapped up earlier this year. At the time, it noted there had been “no official announcement” about renewal but confirmed that interviews had been filmed that “could be used if it goes forward.”

Now, it’s clear that those interviews are being put to use. While Vice TV hasn’t revealed which subjects will be covered in the upcoming season, fans can expect the same raw storytelling that made Dark Side of the Ring a must-watch since its debut in 2019.

Previous seasons have tackled some of wrestling’s most controversial and emotional stories, including the lives of Eddie Gilbert, Tony Atlas, Mick Foley’s brutal Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker, and “Superstar” Billy Graham.

With production underway, fans can officially look forward to more behind-the-scenes stories from wrestling’s most infamous moments — and judging by the show’s history, Season 7 is bound to deliver some shocking revelations.
