Dawson Sutton will drive a University of Tennessee-themed truck in the NASCAR Bristol truck race on Sept. 11.

The orange and white No. 26 truck features the Power T on the hood. The paint scheme is a special collaboration with Tennessee athletics, Sutton’s sponsor Rackley Roofing, and the Learfield/Vol Network.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Dawson Sutton Racing and Rackley Roofing for this incredible opportunity to elevate our brand in front of a fresh audience at the iconic Bristol Motor Speedway, one of the most legendary venues in motorsport,” UT deputy athletics director and chief marketing officer Alicia Longworth said in a release.

Sutton, 19, is a Vols fan from Lebanon, who made his debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2024. The truck race is being held two days before Tennessee football hosts Georgia at Neyland Stadium.

The UNOH 250 (8 p.m. ET) is part of a NASCAR triple-header at Bristol Motor Speedway.

β€œThis is a dream come true for me,” Sutton said. β€œGrowing up, I’ve always been a fan of racing and Tennessee football. To bring those two worlds together at Bristol βˆ’ under the lights, in front of fans who love both βˆ’ is special. I’m honored to represent UT athletics, Rackley Roofing, and Vol Nation on such a big stage.”

Truck Series qualifying will begin at 4:10 p.m. ET on Thursday after practice, which starts at 3:05 p.m.

The Tennessee-themed truck follows in the footsteps of other Volunteer-inspired race cars over the years from both Sterling Marlin and Trevor Bayne.

Sutton is coming off a 19th-place finish on Aug. 30 at Darlington. His best finishes in the 2025 season are ninth at Texas and 11th at Nashville.
