We are deep into the offseason and the Boston Celtics have made a lot of moves. As tempting as it is to say that most of the moves are probably done, I’m going to hold off on that statement. In fact, the last time I said something about it being a quiet period, we had a trade and a free agent signing (while the blog was down – those were good times).
There are still plenty of questions with this roster. How long is Anfernee Simons around for? Who’s starting at center? What’s the over/under on times Joe Mazzulla has to be physically restrained because the team defense is maddeningly incompetent? While I don’t know the answers to those questions, I am more than happy to give my best guesses while sounding like I know what I’m talking about.
So here’s your opportunity to entertain the masses with your questions while I flounder about looking for ways to not look dumb. Has my self deprecation disarmed you yet? Or have I oversold my own incompetence, thus decreasing your confidence in my ability to actually respond intelligently?
Have no fear, as the Antoine Walker of bloggers, I shall continue hoisting up attempts regardless of the previous results. Never tell me the odds …or the efficiency numbers.
