DeWanna Bonner’s Latest Milestone Gets Seal of Approval From Indiana Fever Legend originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Auburn women’s basketball highlighted a piece of league history on Monday.
In a post shared on Instagram, the program noted how one of their former alumni, DeWanna Bonner, is one of only two WNBA players to reach at least 7,000 points, 3,000 rebounds, 1,000 assists, 600 steals and 300 blocks.

Bonner played for the Tigers from 2005-2009, winning SEC Player of the Year in 2009 and becoming a three-time First-Team All-SEC, AP Second Team All-American and USBWA All-American.
Shortly after the post went up, Indiana Fever legend Tamika Catchings, who forms the other half of that club, reshared it with a simple message of approval: “Lettttsss ggoooo!!! ❤️ 🙌 @dewannabonner @phoenixmercury @wnba.”

DeWanna Bonner’s WNBA Profile and Achievements
Drafted No. 5 overall out of Auburn in 2009, Bonner has spent time with the Phoenix Mercury (2009-19; returned in 2025), Connecticut Sun (2020-24) and briefly with the Fever in 2025.

Over that time, she has won two WNBA championships with Phoenix, has become a six-time All-Star, three-time WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year and a two-time All-WNBA selection.
By all accounts, she is widely considered one of the greatest players in league history, currently ranking third all-time in career points (7,689) and fourth in minutes (15,732).

Records are bound to be broken, especially as more young talent like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers make it to the league, but this multi-category dominance helps separate Bonner from the pack.

Being one of two to hit all five thresholds situates Bonner within the league’s all-time conversation beyond points alone.
