UFC light heavyweights are set to battle in April.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotionβs plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Dominick Reyes is targeted to meet Johnny Walker at UFC 327, which is slated for April 11. The numbered event is expected to take place at Kaseya Center in Miami, although the UFC has yet to officially announce the location.

MMA Mania first reported the bout.
Reyes was in the middle of an all-time, feel-good career turnaround after losing four straight, and getting brutally knocked out in three consecutive bouts. Reyes then knocked out Dustin Jacoby, Anthony Smith, and Nikita Krylov to set him up for a huge main event bout with Carlos Ulberg at UFC Perth in September. It wasnβt Reyesβ night, as Ulberg got the first-round knockout. Reyes is widely known as the man who gave Jon Jones the toughest fight of his career, losing a controversial decision at UFC 247 in February 2020.
Walker bounced back from his own slump, snapping a three-fight winless streak with a knockout win over Mingyang Zhang at UFC Shanghai in August. The 33-year-old is set to make his 16th octagon appearance and look to move back up the ladder at 205 pounds.
