Drake women’s basketball drops home game vs. Bradley

Drake women’s basketball lost to Bradley 71-64 in a Missouri Valley Conference game on Jan. 16 at the Knapp Center.

The Bulldogs (4-12, 3-3 MVC) were led by Anna Becker’s 22 points. Maggie Taylor added 15 and Grace Knutson scored 13.

Taylor led Drake with 10 rebounds for a double-double.

The Bulldogs led by two points at halftime after outscoring Bradley 21-12 in the second quarter. Bradley (11-6, 4-2) had a 41-32 edge after the break.

Drake travels to Valparaiso for a 1 p.m. game on Jan. 18.
