The Early Signing Period is quickly approaching, and like it is every year, no position group has been more scrutinized and picked apart than this class’s group of quarterbacks.
Recently, the quarterback position has been loaded with future stars, and 2026 is no exception.

From five-star products who could come in and potentially compete for a starting job on day one, to high four-stars who are viewed as the successors in waiting, this cycle’s group of signal-callers is as impressive as any that we’ve seen over the last decade.
Here’s a look at the top 10 quarterbacks in the cycle and where they’re expected to sign.
1. Jared Curtis – Nashville Christian (Tenn.)
Height: 6-3.5
Weight: 225
Commitment Status: Committed to Georgia
Summary: Originally committing to Georgia last year, Curtis backed off his pledge to the Bulldogs earlier this year before recommitting to the program on May 5.

He’s rounding out his high school career strongly, leading Nashville Christian to an unbeaten mark and one game away from another state championship appearance. This year, he’s thrown for 1,665 yards and 28 touchdowns while also rushing for 450 yards and nine more touchdowns.
2. Dia Bell – American Heritage (Fla.)
Height: 6-2.5
Weight: 215
Commitment Status: Committed to Texas
Summary: Bell and the Patriots got off to a hot start, but his season ended before it could really get going, as another season-ending injury left him playing only three games. In those games, he threw for 540 yards and four touchdowns.

3. Faizon Brandon – Grimsley (N.C.)
Height: 6-3.5
Weight: 200
Commitment Status: Committed to Tennessee
Summary: Expectations were high for Brandon entering his senior season, but a nagging thumb injury suffered in the first game of the year kept him on the sideline nearly all year. He returned to action last week, tossing three first-half touchdowns in Grimsley’s 42-7 win over West Cabarrus.
4. Keisean Henderson – Legacy the School of Sport Sciences (Texas)

Weight: 185
Commitment Status: Committed to Houston
Summary: Henderson’s numbers appear to be more out of a video game than those of a real-life player. The future Cougar led his high school team to six wins, throwing for 3,880 yards and 45 touchdowns while completing 75% of his pass attempts.

On the ground, he’s carried the ball 74 times for 522 yards and 10 more touchdowns.
5. Ryder Lyons – Folsom (Calf.)
Height: 6-2.5
Weight: 220
Commitment Status: Committed to BYU
Summary: While BYU fans will have to wait an extra year to see Lyons’ talent, his 2025 has given the fanbase a lot of optimism for the future.
In 10 games this year, he’s completed 76% of his passes for 2,982 yards and 32 touchdowns to go along with eight rushing touchdowns.
6. Bowe Bentley – Celina (Calif.)

Weight: 200
Commitment Status: Committed to Oklahoma
Summary: Sooners fans can’t wait for Bentley to get to Norman and succeed John Mateer. He was Oklahoma’s top target in this cycle and has lived up to the hype, leading the Bobcats to an 11-0 mark and an offense that averages a hair over 47 points per game.

7. Landon Duckworth – Jackson (Ala.)

Commitment Status: Committed to South Carolina
Summary: Potent is the best way to describe Jackson’s offense with Duckworth and five-star Alabama running back pledge Ezavier Crowell.
Entering late November, Duckworth has thrown for 1,912 yards and 18 touchdowns while also adding nine more touchdowns on the ground.
8. Jake Fette – Del Valle (El Paso, Texas)

Summary: Fette’s high school career may have come earlier than he hoped, but there weren’t many quarterbacks who were more efficient than he was this season. He capped his senior year by completing 64% of his passes for 2,737 yards and 28 touchdowns while also rushing for 1,105 yards and 18 more touchdowns on 110 carries.

9. Jonas Williams – Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort Heights, Ill.)
Height: 6-1.5
Weight: 215
Commitment Status: Committed to USC
Summary: Williams’ high school career came to an end last week, but his legacy in the state of Illinois is going to be hard for any future quarterback to surpass. Nearly every passing record in the state now belongs to the future USC Trojan, including career passing yards and passing touchdowns.

Summary: The Crimson Tide has recruited well at the quarterback position over the last decade, and Thomalla is the next player in that long line. This season, he led the Patriots to a state title while throwing for 3,484 yards and 61 touchdowns.
