Kaylie Guerrero is continuing her recovery journey after suffering a painful dog attack earlier this month, and her latest update shows just how far she’s come.
On November 27, 2025, Kaylie took to Twitter to send a warm Thanksgiving message to fans while showing off the strongest progress yet in her healing. The photo she shared reveals dramatic improvement from the swollen, stitched, and bruised injury she displayed just days prior. Alongside the new picture, Kaylie wrote:
“Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a blessed day. I’m beyond thankful for all the love and sweet messages you guys have sent my way!”
The update comes after Kaylie previously explained that she startled a friend’s sleeping dog when she tried to kiss it, causing the animal to react and accidently bite her. She initially showed the deep cut on her eyelid and told fans the pain “burned,” later revealing the incident required stitches but wouldn’t leave long-term damage. In a past exchange with a fan, she clarified:
“I went to kiss my friend’s sleeping dog on the head and it startled him… definitely a learning lesson…”
Doctors told her she would likely look “good as new” within two weeks, and judging by this latest Thanksgiving photo, she’s already well on her way. Her swelling has gone down significantly, the bruising is fading, and her stitched eyelid appears to be healing cleanly. Kaylie also told fans earlier this week that their support had been helping her stay positive throughout the recovery process:
“Day 3 of the healing process. Thank you guys, for all the love and prayers it means the world to me!”
This new Thanksgiving update is easily the most encouraging one yet—and it shows Kaylie’s resilience, gratitude, and progress all at once. Animal-related injuries can happen unexpectedly, but Kaylie’s healing update brings reassurance to fans who have been rooting for her since the incident.
