SPRINGFIELD, MASS. — The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame revealed the updated list of top athletes participating in the 2026 Panini Hoophall Classic, according to ESPN.com. Games will be played at Blake Arena at Springfield College from Friday, January 15-19, the Birthplace of Basketball.
Hoophall Classic has produced 12 of the last 15 No. 1 overall picks, including 11 straight from 2011-21. This year, Panini Hoophall Classic will feature 56 players in ESPN’s Top 100 from the Class of 2026 (nine of the Top 10) and 12 of the Class of 2026’s WESPN Top 100 recruits.
“The Panini Hoophall Classic, under the leadership of Greg Procino and the entire Hall of Fame staff, continues to be the nation’s biggest and best high school basketball event,” said Paul Biancardi, National Director of Recruiting at ESPN. “The game matchups have an abundance of nationally ranked teams and prospects going head-to-head from The ESPN SC NEXT rankings platform. This longstanding event ties in the unique opportunity for players, coaches, and fans to experience the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Each year, we witness the future stars of high school and college basketball, along with the NBA draft.”
The field also features four top-ranked recruits: Tyran Stokes, Rainier Beach High School (2026), Marcus Spears Jr, Dynamic Prep (‘27), Kaleena Smith, Ontario Christian High School (‘27), and Tatianna Griffin, Ontario Christian High School (‘28).
