It’s officially game week, and in just six days, Michigan football will kick off the 2025 season, starting with a home game against New Mexico at The Big House.
But with Week 0 in the books, we’re starting to learn what the analytics say (at least in the preseason) about which teams are expected to be favorites and which are anticipated as underdogs. Predicted finish
ESPN FPI has the Wolverines losing two games — at USC and in the regular season finale against Ohio State (such has been the case in each of the past four years). Still, ESPN FPI does predict wins at Oklahoma and at Nebraska (a game where Sherrone Moore will be suspended).
