ESPN predicts all of Georgia football’s remaining regular season games

by

The Georgia Bulldogs have a challenging remaining schedule and will likely need to go 4-1 over their final five games in order to feel good about their College Football Playoff chances. With Georgia currently on its bye week ahead of the Florida game, the Bulldogs are looking to improve ahead of the stretch run.

“Big week for us to do a couple things,” Georgia coach Kirby Smart said during the Bulldogs’ bye week. “Number one, get better. Number two, get healthier. Number three, keep improving in the areas that we definitely need to.”

While Georgia focuses on improving, we will take the liberty of looking ahead to the Bulldogs’ five remaining games. Georgia has just one road game left, but the Bulldogs still have challenging neutral site games against Florida and Georgia Tech in addition to a home game against Texas. Georgia has just three SEC games left.

Georgia’s schedule is not too difficult, but we expect that the Bulldogs will still have several close games and possibly even a defeat. ESPN gives Georgia just a 14.9% chance to win out, but it views the Bulldogs as a near lock to make the playoff at 81.6%.
