Georgia will play the winner of Tulane at Ole Miss game in the Sugar Bowl, which is the quarterfinals of the playoff. Tulane and Ole Miss already played this season with the Rebels dominating the contest in a 45-10 win. Ole Miss outgained Tulane by over 250 yards in the first meeting.

In the playoff, the Rebels will be without head coach Lane Kiffin. However, Ole Miss and star quarterback Trinidad Chambliss are still expected to take care of business against Tulane and earn a rematch against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. The Dawgs defeated Ole Miss 43-35 in Athens during the regular season in a game where Georgia did not punt. We’d expect more defense in a second clash between Georgia and Ole Miss.
