Jinder Mahal is officially on the mend after going under the knife for a serious knee issue that’s been plaguing him for years.
The former WWE Superstar revealed on Instagram that he recently underwent successful knee surgery to address multiple problems—most notably two loose bodies and a torn meniscus. Mahal kept it real with fans in a new rehab video, showing the first steps of his recovery just days after the procedure. He captioned the post with a clear breakdown of what was fixed:
“2 loose bodies removed + meniscus trimmed. Surgery went well, now comes the recovery.”
In the video, Mahal is seen having his knee examined and measured before beginning a light rehab routine. It’s a glimpse into the early grind of recovery—a stark contrast from the intense in-ring performances he’s been delivering on the indie scene since his WWE release.
Mahal’s knee issues have been building for some time. He recently claimed that WWE botched a knee injury during his run with the company, which made the problem worse than it needed to be. This surgery appears to be the step he needed to finally fix it.
There’s no word yet on when Mahal will return to action, but this successful procedure marks the start of a new chapter for the Modern Day Maharaja—one focused on healing up and coming back stronger than ever.
