“He’s a guy that has an incredible motor,” Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham said this week on The Big Ten Network. “He plays every snap as if it was his last. A tremendously talented young man. Was leading the nation in sacks last year before he went down with an injury. We feel he probably woulda led the nation if he had stayed healthy all year. He’s just a relentless, throwback type of defensive end. He’s just physical, but he’s got great pass rush ability.”
Henry Daley ruptured his Achilles last season, but the expectation is the 6-foot-4, 255-pound edge rusher will be ready to roll by the time fall camp arrives. Henry Daley’s tenacity and relentlessness should push others on defense. The question is, can Henry Daley be the best pass rusher Michigan’s had since the days of Aidan Hutchinson wreaking havoc?
