The Indiana Fever will return to Brooklyn to battle the New York Liberty on Tuesday, July 22 – the third game between the teams, and the first since New York beat Indiana 98-77 on July 16.

While speaking to reporters following the Fever’s practice Monday, 2025 All-Star Kelsey Mitchell admitted that the team will have to be “as tough as possible” against New York.
“They’re gonna make some tough shots. They create for a reason,” Mitchell added.
She also said the team’s best bet might be to “make it dirty and muck it up for them” — and to “make it as difficult as possible” for the Liberty to get their shots.
The Fever beat the Liberty 102-88 on June 14. The Liberty are currently ranked second overall in the league (and Indiana is ranked sixth).
