Fever Star Sophie Cunningham Does Not Hold Back on Cameron Brink’s Fashion Style originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Sophie Cunningham wasn’t exactly a superstar before she joined the Indiana Fever during this past offseason. These days, however, the 28-year-old has become a household name among WNBA fans after making such a significant impact on the Fever in her first season with the squad.
Cunningham has now become a star both on and off the court. A testament to this fact is how she’s consistently caught the attention of supporters with her eye-catching gameday outfits.

Cameron Brink, the Fashion Icon
Meanwhile, even before Cunningham rose to stardom, Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink had already made her mark in the world of women’s basketball, particularly when it comes to being a fashion icon. Fans had been following the 6-foot-4 forward from her days in Stanford, and she has transitioned nicely since joining the WNBA as a rookie last season, both on and off the court.
Brink, however, suffered a season-ending ACL injury just 15 games into her debut campaign. She ended up spending 13 months on the shelf recovering from surgery, and it wasn’t until July 29 that she finally made her long-awaited return to action.
Despite her extended absence, Brink still made sure to come to games in attention-grabbing outfits that allowed her to stand out from the pack.

Sophie Cunningham Praises Brink’s Fashion Style
In the first episode of Cunningham’s brand-new “Show Me Something” podcast, the 6-foot-1 guard was asked by her co-host, reality TV star West Wilson, about who she considers a “good WNBA pioneer for fashion.”
Cunningham said that the 2024 rookie class possesses a significant advantage because of their massive platform during their college days. The Fever star singled out Rickea Jackson of the Sparks as one of her pioneers. Cunningham then turned her attention to Brink.

“You have Cameron Brink, who is literally stunning,” Cunningham declared. “You could throw a trash bag on her and she rocks it.”

While Brink has not come to a game wearing a trash bag, in her mind, Cunningham believes that the 23-year-old would be able to pull it off and still look amazing if she decided to.
The Fever and the Sparks face off at Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday. This should give Cunningham and Brink the opportunity to face off both on the court and in the tunnel.
