FIA and Pirelli continue successful GT3 collaboration as 2025 FIA GT World Cup is go
Entering the third consecutive year of collaboration, Pirelli will once again serve as the official tyre partner and supplier for the FIA GT World Cup, traditionally held on the demanding Guia Circuit as part of the Macau Grand Prix
Cars from six different GT3 manufacturers are set to battle it out for the FIA GT World Cup, each equipped with Pirelli’s P Zero DHG tyres in dry conditions and the Cinturato WHB in case of wet weather. These tyres, a new specification for 2025, are used in several leading GT3 championships worldwide.
For the second year in a row, the tyres Pirelli provides to the FIA GT World Cup competitors will incorporate special limited-edition distinctive visual details. This year’s tyres feature sidewall artwork inspired by the Chinese dragon, with bold yellow decals symbolising the venue of the world’s most prestigious GT3 sprint race.

Traditionally, the winner of the FIA GT World Cup Qualification Race will be awarded the Pirelli Pole Position Trophy. Meanwhile, the 10 drivers taking part in the new Qualifying Q2 ‘Super Pole’ will be permitted to use a new set of Pirelli tyres.
The long-standing partnership between the FIA and Pirelli in GT3 competition dates back to the inaugural FIA GT World Cup in 2015 and includes all editions of the FIA Motorsport Games held so far.
In addition to the FIA GT World Cup, Pirelli will also supply tyres for the second edition of the FIA Formula Regional World Cup, as well as for the new-for-2025 FIA Formula 4 World Cup. FIA FR World Cup competitors will count on the P Zero DMC tyre for dry weather and the Cinturato WSC in case it rains. FIA F4 World Cup will have the P Zero DMA tyre at their disposal for dry conditions and the Cinturato WSA for wet-weather use.
Drivers from all three competitions will benefit from Pirelli’s extensive tyre expertise to tackle the unique challenges of the Guia Circuit – a narrow, high-speed street track known for its abrasive surface, elevated temperatures, and constantly evolving grip conditions.
All FIA World Cups held as part of the 72nd Macau Grand Prix will be broadcast live via the FIA’s official YouTube channel.
