Fiery Halloween Havoc Contract Signing Gets Physical During 10/21 WWE NXT

by

WWE NXT’s October 21 episode was quite a show, and it featured a big contract signing. Ever since winning the NXT Title, Ricky Saints has wanted to prove that he belongs, but he has to fight Trick Williams again to prove himself at Halloween Havoc.

This week on NXT, they held a contract signing between Ricky Saints and Trick Williams. The two will face off in a match that could be a brutal affair.

The contract signing went down as the main event of this week’s show. Ava had a lot of security guards in the ring as they stood around a table with two chairs. Trick Williams and Ricky Saints got their entrances, and fans were behind both of them.

Trick started out by saying that he waits for his spotlight, and that’s why he’s the main event. Then Williams said that Ricky Saints is mad, because Trick is still the main event, even if he’s not champion. He is loyal to himself only, and since he loves himself, he’s going to do what is best for him and become a three-time NXT Champion. Then he signed his contract.

Ricky Saints had a chance to cut a promo after that before he signed on the dotted line. He said that Williams has changed since winning the NXT Championship. After all, the “Whoop That Era” lost the plot along the way. He accused Trick of saying that he thought he was bigger than the title.

Trick Williams took a shot at Ricky Saints’ history in the indies. Williams then said that he looks too good to be on the indies, and Saints is just a stand-in for him as champion. Then the Absolute Era “will be absolutely over.” Saints then fired back saying that Trick would have folded if he had to go through what Saints did on the indies.

They got in each other’s face after that, and then Trick hit a cheap shot. A few security guards took a bump and then Ricky put Trick through a table to close out the night.

WWE NXT Halloween Havoc is set to go down on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Prescott Valley, Arizona. We will have full coverage of the entire event here at Ringside News.
