Five fights added to Perth and Vancouver UFC Fight Nights

by

The UFC is hard at work filling up its upcoming international slate of Fight Nights.

The promotion just announced five new fights — three for UFC Perth on September 27th and and two for UFC Vancouver on October 18th.

For the UFC Fight Night in Australia, Melbourne fighter Jake Matthews puts his three fight win streak on the line against Neil Magny, who bounced back from a 1-2 record in 2024 to beat Elizeu Zaleski by TKO in August. Will this fast turnaround get him back into the mix at welterweight?

“The Welsh Gangster” Oban Elliott looks to bounce back from a disappointing decision loss to Seok Hyeon Ko in June when he takes on Aussie fighter Jonathan Micallef, who entered the UFC via Contender Series and is 1-0 with the promotion.

Also added to the card: a clash between featherweights Jack Jenkins and Ramon Taveras. The UFC Perth card is headlined by a light heavyweight scrap between Carlos Ulberg and Dominick Reyes.

For UFC Vancouver, Canadian Charles “Air” Jourdain is set to fight U.K. fighter Davey Grant. Kyle Prepolec will look to bounce back from a late replacement loss to Benoit Saint Denis against Drew Dober, who is on a 1-4 skid but always brings the heat.

UFC Vancouver is headlined by a middleweight contender match between Reinier de Ridder and Anthony Hernandez, plus a showcase bout for Great Canadian Hope Mike Malott, who hopes to extend his win streak to three fights against Kevin Holland, who is 2-2 in 2025.
