Florida basketball moves back into USA Today Coaches Poll

After a one-week hiatus, Florida basketball is back in the national polls after coming up with back-to-back top 25 wins last week.

The Gators (11-5, 2-1 SEC) were ranked No. 20 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Prior to falling out of the poll, UF previously stood at No. 22.

Florida came up with a pair of victories at home after defeating Georgia 92-77 and Tennessee 91-67.

The SEC now has four other teams ranked in the poll as it included Vanderbilt at No. 8, Arkansas at No. 17, Alabama at No. 18 and Georgia at No. 22. Notably, Tennessee and Texas A&M also received votes.

Where UF stands in AP poll and other metrics

The Gators were also back in the AP Poll and stand at No. 19.

In the latest KenPom Florida moved from No. 14 back to No. 12, while in Bart Torvick UF lowered to No. 11. In EvanMiya, the Gators jumped to No. 12.
