The situation surrounding Kota Ibushi’s condition has taken a serious turn as new footage has surfaced showing EMTs rushing him into an ambulance outside Daily’s Place in Jacksonville.
The video, believed to be filmed shortly after his match at the October 8 taping of AEW Collision (set to air October 11), shows Ibushi being stretchered through the backstage area directly toward emergency medical transport.
This new development raises further concern, as Ibushi wasn’t taken to AEW’s standard medical room for evaluation—he was sent straight to the hospital. That detail alone suggests the injury may be more severe than originally thought.
Ibushi was injured during his singles match with Josh Alexander after taking a hard fall out of the ring. Medical staff immediately rushed to ringside to assist him. After several minutes, Ibushi was stretchered out in front of a stunned crowd. The taping paused as the lights dimmed and AEW President Tony Khan came out to thank fans for their patience and respect during the delay.
Until now, the only information available was from those in attendance. But the newly surfaced footage confirms what many feared: this wasn’t a routine ringside checkup—this was a situation serious enough to require hospital care.
AEW has yet to release an official statement on Ibushi’s condition. With the footage now making rounds online, fans are hoping for clarity and, more importantly, good news.
