Former Auburn sophomore defensive lineman Malik Blocton is set to transfer to LSU, per On3 Sports. LSU lands the No. 11 defensive lineman in the portal, according to 247Sports.
Blocton joins the new era of LSU football under Lane Kiffin. The sophomore played in 24 games at Auburn while recording 33 total tackles and two sacks. He had been producing well for the Tigers’ interior defensive line.

Blocton announced his plans to enter the transfer portal back on Dec. 18. Auburn had recruited him from Pike Road High School in the 2024 recruiting class. He was rated a three-star prospect and the No. 27 player out of the state of Alabama.
The Tigers have signed four-star Corey Wells and three-star Tavian Branch out of high school to bring in some youth to the position. Auburn will see Blocton and LSU when the Bayou Bengals come to town on Oct. 24. In LSU and Auburn’s last matchup, LSU won 48-18 back in 2023.
