Tulsa has landed Auburn football running back transfer Damari Alston.
Alston and the Tigers parted ways back on Oct 13. When Hugh Freeze announced that the senior running back would no longer be with the team.

Alston began 2025 with a big performance against Baylor, rushing for 84 yards on 16 carries for one touchdown. The senior dealt with a shoulder injury that sidelined him until the Oklahoma game; in his absence, Jeremiah Cobb took over the starting job.
After a 20-10 loss to Georgia, Alston would part ways with the Auburn football program. He ended his season with 32 carries, 128 yards rushing, and one rushing touchdown.
Tulsa will get one year of eligibility out of Alston. He finished his time with the Tigers with 162 carries, 809 yards rushing, six rushing touchdowns, 19 receptions, and 143 yards receiving.
Auburn football has added two running backs from the transfer portal to replace Alston and Durell Robinson. Nykahi Davenport of USF and Bryson Washington of Baylor will join a stacked running back room that features Alvin Henderson, Omar Mabson, and returning premier back Jeremiah Cobb.
