Four-star pass rusher Dre Quinn out of Buford, Georgia, announced his commitment to Ohio State after spending the weekend on an official visit. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound defender had been exploring his options since reopening his recruitment earlier in the fall.
Quinn originally picked Clemson during the summer, selecting the Tigers over Texas, but he stepped away from that decision in September not long after attending the LSU game. Once he hit the reset button, programs such as Tennessee, Texas, and Miami continued to evaluate him before the Buckeyes pulled ahead.

According to 247Sports, Quinn is rated No. 391 overall in the 2026 class and sits 36th among edge rushers.
His move leaves Clemson with just one defensive end committed for 2026 — three-star JR Hardrick. The Tigers have also extended a recent offer to in-state three-star Michael Foster, who is currently pledged to ECU.
