Former Georgia Bulldogs transfer quarterback Jaden Rashada has already found a new home.Rashada has committed to transfer to the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Rashada finds himself back in the SEC, and the rising redshirt junior still has at least two years of experience in college football left.
He’s committed to three different SEC teams. He first committed to Florida on Nov. 10, 2022, but the four-star quarterback decommitted on Jan. 20, 2023 due to a disagreement in his contract. His NIL lawsuit with Billy Napier and Florida showed the dark side of the NIL era.

Rashada instead went to the Arizona State Sun Devils on Feb. 1, 2023, where he would get his only Power Four starting experience. As a freshman in 2023, Rashada threw for 485 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions. However, with Sam Leavitt earning the starting job in 2024, Rashada decided to transfer.

He ended up with the Georgia Bulldogs, his second SEC team on April 25, 2024, where he competed with quarterback Gunner Stockton for the backup role under Carson Beck. He wasn’t able to win it, with Georgia putting in Stockton when Beck was injured in the 2024 SEC championship, so Rashada transferred again.
Rashada committed to the Sacramento State Hornets, and it was expected to be a place he could thrive as an FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision) player at an FCS (Football Championship Subdivision) school. Unfortunately for him, he only started one game and played in six of them, going 17 of 42 for 264 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.

Now, he finds himself at Mississippi State, his third SEC team. He could earn the starting job with the Bulldogs, with Blake Shapen running out of eligibility and freshman Kamario Taylor injuring himself in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. They don’t play the Georgia Bulldogs or the Florida Gators until 2027, so Rashada will have to wait until next year to get revenge on either one of those teams.
