Former Indiana State Sycamore guard Samage Teel is headed overseas to continue his basketball career at the pro level.
Teel has signed a contract to play in the top division of the Israeli Basketball Premier League for the Maccabi Ramat Gan team, the ISU basketball program announced on its official X account Monday.

Maccabi Ramat Gan is based in the Tel Aviv district. Its home court is the Shalom Zisman Municipal Sports Arena, which seats 1,400.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Teel transferred to ISU from Presbyterian University prior to last season and led the Sycamores in scoring at 16.9 points per game, assists at 5.2 per game and steals at 1.2 per game.
He also pulled down 4.1 rebounds per outing as ISU – coached by Matthew Graves – ended up 14-18 overall and 8-12 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
