TNA iMPACT just got a dose of wild energy from a familiar — and polarizing — face. On the July 10 episode, a surreal vignette aired featuring Fourth Rope, better known to wrestling fans as the former Enzo Amore.
In a segment that almost felt spliced in from another universe, the outspoken performer jumped right into his iconic delivery, starting things off with his trademark catchphrase: “…and you can’t teach that.” That opening line instantly threw fans back to his days teaming with Big Cass in WWE, where the duo made a name for themselves with brash promos and serious charisma.
The vignette was part-rant, part-throwback, with Fourth Rope reminding fans — and maybe warning TNA’s locker room — that he’s been a problem before. He made specific reference to his notorious appearance at Madison Square Garden, where he once disrupted a WWE pay-per-view from the crowd after being released from the company. “You remember what I did at the Garden… don’t think I won’t do it again.”
Enzo’s wrestling career has been anything but ordinary. After breaking out in NXT, he and Big Cass became one of WWE’s hottest acts without ever needing gold. He later transitioned to the cruiserweight division, capturing the WWE Cruiserweight Championship before being released in 2018. Since then, he’s wrestled under the name Real1 on the indie scene and had brief stints in MLW before vanishing from major wrestling TV — until now.
With his TNA debut as Fourth Rope, the question is simple: what the hell is he about to do next?
