Four-star shooting guard Katrelle Harmon has narrowed his collegiate future down to his top six schools, and Alabama basketball is in the mix.

Joining the Crimson Tide — the lone SEC contender for the 2026 prospect — are Creighton, Iowa, Oregon, Rutgers and Washington, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.

Harmon plans to schedule an official visit to Alabama, as well as Rutgers, already having taken officials to Creighton and Iowa and unofficial visits to Oregon and Washington.

Mississippi State, Auburn, Arizona State, Illinois, USC, Texas Tech, Syracuse and more offered the Seattle, Washington native and Wasatch Academy (UT) rising senior.

What Katrell Harmon wants in a college program, and what he likes about Alabama basketball

Harmon told Tipton what he wants in a college program, saying a “good organization that knows how to win” and where players and coaches stick together.

“I don’t want to go somewhere that has five players over here and then three over there; I want to go somewhere that’s like a family,” Harmon said.

He knows what he likes about Alabama, too.

“May be one of the more fun offenses to play in college basketball,” Harmon said. “Would be great playing with an entire team of shot-makers while playing as fast as anyone.”

Harmon, the No. 69 overall prospect in the nation according to On3, also sees the history being made in Tuscaloosa under coach Nate Oats.

“Bama is slowly turning into a Blue Blood school for basketball, too, and I can envision myself helping Oats and the program crash that party in my time there,” Harmon said.
