Four-star edge rusher Hezekiah Harris flipped his commitment from Auburn to Tennessee football, giving the Vols another strong prospect in a surging 2026 class.
On Sept. 1, Harris announced during a ceremony at Jemison High in Huntsville, Alabama, that he was changing his commitment to Tennessee. He had been committed to Auburn since July 2024, and his brother, Malachi, is an Auburn offensive lineman.

Ultimately, Harris chose Tennessee over Auburn and Florida. He can sign with the Vols during the early signing period in December.
The 6-foot-6, 235-pound Harris is ranked the No. 13 edge rusher and No. 100 prospect overall in the 2026 class by 247Sports Composite.
His commitment bolsters Tennessee’s 2026 class, which has climbed to No. 8 in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Harris is Tennessee’s 25th commitment in the 2026 recruiting class.
It’s led by quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tristen Keys and athlete Salesi Moa, who will likely play wide receiver for the Vols. All three are rated five-star prospects by the 247Sports Composite.

Defensive lineman Dereon Albert, cornerback Zay Anderson, wide receiver Legend Bey, edge rusher Zach Groves, wide receiver Tyreek King, offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda, linebacker Brayden Rouse, offensive tackle JB Shabazz, offensive tackle Kamari Blair, linebacker TJ White and athlete Joel Wyatt committed to the Vols. They are rated four stars.
The class also includes offensive lineman Edward Baker, safety Jowell Combay, edge rusher CJ Edwards, edge rusher Kedric Golston, safety KJ McClain, linebacker Braylon Outlaw, defensive lineman Darryl Rivers, athlete Javonte Smith, cornerback Jamyan Theodore and safety Luke Thompson. They are rated three stars.
