No. 17 Tennessee (5-2, 2-2 SEC) will play at Kentucky (2-4, 0-4 SEC) on Saturday in Week 9 of the 2025 college football season.

Kickoff between the Vols and Wildcats is slated for 7:45 p.m. EDT at Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky. SEC Network will televise the matchup with Tom Hart (play-by-play), Jordan Rodgers (analyst) and Cole Cubelic (sideline reporter) on the call.

“Getting ready to go play in a border war game, rivalry game,” Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel said. “You look at these games historically, they’ve been really tight, and so we’re playing a really good football team.

“You look at them Saturday against Texas statistically, won the game in about every way, just not on the scoreboard. They take it to overtime, so another test inside of this league on the road against a good football team, and one that we’re looking forward to. Hopefully we see a lot of our fans make the trip up there to Lexington.”

Beginning with the 2024-25 athletics calendar, the SEC made it mandatory for schools to provide public reports on availability of student-athletes to participate in each conference game in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball.
