The Georgia Bulldogs utilized the transfer portal less than any other College Football Playoff quarterfinalist. Georgia is going to lose a good chunk of its roster to the portal while supplementing the team with a few key transfer additions. Last year, Georgia lost 20 players to the transfer portal and added 10 transfers. We expect Georgia to have similar numbers this offseason plus-or-minus a few.
The transfer portal officially opened on Jan. 2, which was the day after Georgia lost the Sugar Bowl to the Ole Miss Rebels. The usual portal chaos is taking place and it is almost impossible to keep up. Fortunately, we’ve got you covered with where Georgia players are headed and who Georgia is targeting.

There is no spring transfer portal, so this is players’ only chance to enter the portal, which will close on Jan. 16. Players that are already in the portal can choose to transfer at any point after Jan. 16, but no new players can enter the portal.
