The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to Michigan State Spartans wide receiver commitment Samson Gash, who is a member of the class of 2026. Gash has not signed with Michigan State and recently won a state championship with Central Catholic High School in Novi, Michigan.
The 6-foot, 180-pound receiver committed to Michigan State back in June. However, the Spartans fired head coach Jonathan Smith and hired former Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald. Michigan State’s coaching change gave Gash second thoughts.

Georgia gave Gash something extra to think about with an offer in December. Georgia is late to the party for the four-star wide receiver recruit, but it is hard to ignore a scholarship offer from one of the top programs in college football.
“Blessed to receive an offer from Georgia!” Gash said after UGA offered him on Dec. 12. He later said “decisions, decisions, decisions…” on social media after the offer.

Gash is ranked as the No. 381 player in the nation, per 247Sports. He’s the No. 55 receiver in America and the No. 6 recruit in Michigan.
There’s a lot to like about the Michigan State commit. He has elite speed and runs a 10.4 time in the 100-meters. He’s coming off an impressive season with over 1,700 yards and 18 touchdowns. The Central Catholic standout has good body control and contributed a punt return for a touchdown during the 2025 high school football season.

He’s a recruiting target to watch for Georgia and Michigan State as national signing day approaches on Feb. 4, 2026. Gash could help Georgia replace four-star wide receiver Brady Marchese, who flipped from UGA to Michigan in December.
