Georgia Bulldogs fans, we are almost there! Georgia kicks off the 2025 college football season just one month from today!
The Bulldogs open the 2025 season against the Marshall Thundering Herd on Saturday, Aug. 30. While Marshall may not be the most exciting season opener, college football will be back and this Georgia team has a ton of interesting storylines entering Week 1.

The Dawgs are breaking in a new starting quarterback in Gunner Stockton. Georgia is leaning on a combination of young players and transfers to rebuild after having 13 players selected in the 2025 NFL draft (second-most of any college football program).
The 2025 edition of Georgia opens the season against two non-Power Four opponents, which will give Georgia plenty of time to gel. We’ll find out a lot about Georgia in Week 3 when the Bulldogs travel to play the Tennessee Volunteers in their SEC opener.
