Giannis Antetokounmpo confirmed that he intends to play for Greece at this summer’s EuroBasket.
The competition runs from August 27-September 14 and will take place between Cyprus, Finland, Poland, and Latvia.
Greece are currently in Group C, alongside Cyprus, Italy, Georgia, Spain, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The top four teams will advance to the knockout rounds.
Antetokounmpo has yet to make an official decision on his return to the Bucks for next season, most recently saying “we’ll see.“
Luka Doncic is also expected to play with Slovenia in the tournament.
