With injuries piling up for the Giants, there's at least some good news for New York.
Graham Gano has been activated off injured reserve and will handle the kicking duties for Big Blue as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday for a Week 8 matchup.
Sunday will be the first time Gano is back on the field since suffering a groin injury in pregame warmups on Sept. 21 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He still played that game, making one field goal on one attempt, but the kicker has only suited up in three contests this season for New York.
The news of Gano's return comes on the heels of Jude McAtamney missing two extra points in the Giants' historical loss to the Denver Broncos last week, so it'll be nice to have the veteran back.
In other roster news, New York activated WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey and S Raheem Layne from the practice squad. The team also waived LB Swayze Bozeman.
